Dutch Baruntse Expedition
On September 17, 2004, a 13 member team will leave for Nepal in an attempt to summit Baruntse. At 23,510 ft. (7,168 m), Baruntse is geographically located amidst the world’s Giant Moutains – Mount Everest on one side, Makalu on the other. Ten climbers will attempt to summit Baruntse, whereas five members of the team will try to ascend Little Baruntse or Mera Peak.

Skiing from 8200 meter!
In March 2004 a Dutch team left for Nepal. They will be the first Lowlanders to ski from an 8000 meter mountain. In cooperation with Euro Cargo Aviation, the general sales agent of GULF Air Cargo, WBS is sponsoring the transport of equipment to Kathmandu.
